Digital Literature Review – The DLR is an academic journal edited, produced, and published by undergraduate students partnered with the English Department at Ball State. Their goal is to showcase the valuable contributions of hardworking, creative students from all over the world.

Association of Writers and Writing Programs – Features a wealth of resources for writers, including a searchable database for grad programs in Creative Writing.
Writing Forward – Named in 2009 as one of the best web sites for writers, this site is all about aiding writers from various genres, such as creative nonfiction, fiction, screenwriting, and journal writing. Writing Forward also provides writing prompts to help spark ideas.
Community of Literary Magazines and Presses – The CLMP provides a detailed directory of literary magazines and presses, providing writers with the information they need to choose the right publisher for their work.
Newpages.com – New Pages reviews literary magazines and posts calls for submissions and contest deadlines on their blog, which you can subscribe to through an RSS feed.
Duotrope’s Digest – Duotrope is a database of literary magazines and presses that publish poetry and fiction. This tool can be used to track your submissions to markets as well as find out acceptance and rejection statistics, response time, submission guidelines, and the markets’ websites.
CRWROPPS-B – This group posts calls for submissions and contest information for writers of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Subscribe to daily digest or receive individual posts. An average of 3-5 new calls for submissions each day!
