Why tell us your story?

  • When prospective students and their parents ask us, “What can you do with a degree in English?” we send them to your stories!
  • We also use your career-journey stories as the textbook in ENG 269 Career Discovery, a new required class in the department. Current students learn so much about their career options from the stories you tell.
  • Students in ENG 269 may want to connect with you on LinkedIn or talk to you about what you do. By telling your story, you make yourself more findable to students looking for guidance.
