Seth Allen is sophomore vocal performance major

“Ball State has allowed me to grow so much as a performer because of all of the new experiences I’ve had including being in my first opera and working with so many professionals in the classical field. I had never really experienced opera before Ball State and now that I have it’s one of my favorite means of performance! Coming from a musical theatre/acting background, opera and theatre skills mesh really well together which allows me to perform to the best of my ability. I have also been in Statesmen and Opera Chorus. My favorite ensemble memory was singing “Chichester Psalms” in Sursa Hall. Leonard Bernstein is one of my favorite composers and his music is so nuanced and special, which made it a one of a kind experience.”📸: @jkwcreative
