Sean is originally from Muncie and is a music media production major.  

“I’ve been studying piano for 25 years and was constantly around music growing up. I used to sit on my father’s lap while he played drums in church. My uncle would play keyboard and organ, singing and directing choirs. My favorite memory while here in the School of Music is continuing lessons with Dr. Rhoden; Dr. Rhoden has taught me piano off and on for 25 years. Finishing my bachelor’s degree has allowed me to finish studying under her tutelage. I decided to study at Ball State because my girlfriend at the time convinced me to finish my degree and follow my dreams. Because of her believing in me, I applied, auditioned, and got accepted to Ball State! Before starting school, I married my girlfriend.”
