“I have been involved in choir since 4th grade, and that’s what really started my music career. I was very involved in music in high school through show choir, jazz choir, and our spring musical. I was honored to be the Franklin College National Anthem Singer, where I sang at every event possible. I have also been fortunate to sing the national anthem at NCAA Championships, Indianapolis Indians games and Fort Wayne Comets Hockey games.
“My very favorite memory at Ball State is traveling to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with the Chamber Choir to sing at the ACDA Regional Conference, and being part of the only Indiana school honored to sing there.
“I was pregnant this past school year, and I had a little girl toward the end of March. The members of Chamber Choir were so supportive of me, always asked how I was doing, and made sure I was taken care of when I couldn’t go home often.”
