Senior percussionist Nicholas Mark is from Fishers, Indiana and is majoring in music education.  

“I have been studying percussion for 11 years. What inspired me to begin was seeing all of my friends join band because I was actually leaning towards learning cello. This year I will not be performing in the Showcase, but as an assistant manager at Sursa Hall, I have been and will be doing a lot of facilitating to help the whole process run smoothly. My favorite aspect of working on the Showcase is being able to ease the worries of performers and professors alike. Letting them understand that we have it under control makes me feel excited to present their hard work and dedication to those watching.”
