LaMont Webb is an Artist Diploma saxophonist.

“My first live jazz experience got me into jazz. I was 14 years-old and a saxophonist from my hometown by the name of Art Porter died in a boating accident. I was asked to learn his solo and play it on a tribute concert. The concert blew my mind and was filled with professional musicians from the Chicago-area who played with Art Porter. I’d never seen or heard anything like that in my life at that point and I was hooked!”.
