“I have been playing trombone for about 10 years. My dad used to teach middle school band, so music has always played a big role in my life. I am not sure what drew me to the trombone specifically, but I know that I never really considered playing another instrument.
“Currently I am involved with the Ball State Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band. I really enjoy playing classic rep with the full orchestra. In Wind Ensemble we are premiering a new piece by Paul Dooley this Friday and it is very cool. I also love performing with the marching band and supporting Ball State athletics. #ChirpChirp
“One of my favorite memories from Ball State was working the International Trombone Festival (ITF) in 2019. The festival was hosted at Ball State and I was able to see some of the best trombone players in the world perform in Sursa Hall!”
