Ben Davis is a sophomore music education major (and jazz minor) from Elkhart, IN.
“I have been playing piano for fourteen years, and viola for ten. My fondest memory so far at Ball State has been getting to rehearse and perform with the Ball State University Jazz Ensembles and the Ball State Symphony Orchestra. They’re both fun and creative environments where we get to play really exciting, beautiful, and fun pieces/tunes, as well as interact with others and build relationships through the playing of music that we all love.”
“I chose Ball State University because of the top-notch music education program and faculty offered here! There are lots of opportunities that help us become better teachers, and I feel comfortable knowing that when I begin my music teaching career, I’ll be well-prepared to be the best educator I can possibly be.”
