KC King is a freshman Music Media Production major and jazz minor from Fishers, IN.

“My primary instrument is voice, and I’ve been studying it for one year. I’ve been singing all my life, just like anyone else, but it wasn’t until my high school AP Music Theory teacher told me I had a good voice that I considered singing as something I could get better at. My secondary instrument is saxophone, and I’ve studied it for almost 7 years now. My favorite memories at Ball State so far are the jazz jam sessions that happen Friday nights. It’s awesome getting to hear other students killing on their instruments and also getting to meet more people in the jazz department!”
