“I chose to attend Ball State for several reasons. I’ve always had a close connection to the University because both my dad and older brother went here. Then after having a lesson with Dr. Kozenko, I knew it would be a great place to study oboe performance! The university is also very affordable and close to home.
“Some of my favorite memories at Ball State include all the gigs, performances, and rehearsals with the Muncie Symphony Orchestra and Ball State woodwind quintet! Getting up when the sun is still down to go play music for people with a bunch of your friends is always fun, even if you’re tired or stressed.”
