“I think that the most important piece of knowledge that I have learned at Ball State is that teaching and performing go hand in hand. To improve and grow as a music teacher is inherent to actively play an instrument and vice versa. The best part of playing in brass quintet is having the ability to travel places, perform music, and positively influence people’s lives.
