“The Ball State School of Music has the best people I have ever met. My professors and peers all push me to be the best musician and artist I can be, and I find myself growing every day. I am very blessed to be a part of such an amazing school. Going here has rekindled my love for music and every lesson, class, and practice session has just fueled the fire. I am very excited for all of the opportunities I have been given, like having an officer position of The BSU Wrecking Crew, being principal trumpet for Ball State University Bands Symphony Band, and being a part of a family like the Ball State University Singers. The University Singers has been a significant part of my time here at Ball State and I love every second I get to spend with the group!
My favorite memory so far at Ball State is when I went to London with the University Singers and my small group got lost in London for about 3 hours trying to find Abbey Road. We ended up on the other side of the city and also messed up our Oyster Cards for the rest of the trip. We eventually got to Abbey Road and took a rather dangerous photo in the middle of a very busy street, but it was worth it. Pro tip if you go to London: Abbey Station is not near Abbey road and definitely double check where you are going before you go on an hour-long train ride to the opposite side of the city. That is definitely a memory I will never forget!”
