The Pride of Mid-America Marching Band started off our 2019 season strong by wrapping up our week-long band camp on Aug. 18. We enjoyed putting all of Pre-game and our Superhero Halftime Show on the field while also enjoying a variety of other activities such as: a scavenger hunt, section activities night,  T.I.S. Band Night, and of course, performing at freshman convocation!

This past week on Aug. 21st, POMA performed at the annual “Picnic and Pops” concert held at Minnetrista in Muncie, Indiana. The marching band provided a sneak peek of our Superhero show music and performed the finale with the Muncie Symphony Orchestra, providing an incredible and entertaining show for Muncie community.

POMA is ecstatic to welcome the largest freshman class that Ball State University has ever had. With a total of 209 members, POMA is ready to set foot on the field and make music for all to enjoy! POMA is proud to present their “Superheroes” show at the first game of the season on Aug. 31st at the Ball State vs. IU game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Featuring classic superhero tunes, the show is both fun and exciting to watch and hear! We hope to see everyone at Lucas Oil this weekend.
