What is the Digital Writing Studio?

The Digital Writing Studio (DWS) is a digital working and tutoring space open Monday – Thursday 12-4 p.m. and Friday 12-2 p.m. in Robert Bell 116.
In the DWS, writers can compose a variety of digital and multimodal projects, such as (but certainty not limited to)
  • constructing a website
  • producing a video
  • developing a digital portfolio
  • creating a blog
  • leveraging social media
  • organizing an informational campaign
  • designing an infographic and other documents
  • selecting and editing images
  • crafting a presentation
  • writing and producing a podcast.
It’s a faculty resource, too!
If you want your students to create a digital project and need help showing them how to do that work, the DWS can come to your class! The DWS is equipped with five workstations that house digital composing tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, MovieMaker, iMovie, and more. You can schedule your appointments now for the rest of the semester online at www.bsu.edu/writingcenter.
Also, follow @bsuwrites for more information about the Digital Writing Center.
