Life is all about people. You will learn from some of the most interesting people. You will share a close connection with a few people. And, you will meet some people that you wish you had not. College is the same way!

First entering college, some of the first people that you will meet are your resident assistant, roommate, professors, and academic advisor. You’ve probably read, watched, or heard some of the crazy stories; roommates who snore loudly, professors who expect their students to be geniuses, the list goes on… But what is left untold are the stories you will never forget.

In college, you will meet some of the most interesting people who, you will share bonds with for the rest of your life. Staying in your shell, will only get you so far. Let go of doubts and really get to know people. Instead of pointing out differences with people you come in counter with, find similarities. Music is probably the easiest way. Follow each other on social media. The people you will be around can potentially be future coworkers, bosses, who knows? It is extremely important to network with others because who knows what can blossom; friendships, employment opportunities, maybe even marriage

Lastly, Workshops will provide you a snap shot of the college experience. Your courses will challenge you while dorm activities will add to your social experience. Remember to soak up as much of the experience as possible!
