Moves in Business Affairs: FPM
There are lots of moves happening in Facilities Planning and Management (FPM). FPM is planning to move the Building Services supervisors back into North Service, the modular building west of Showalter. Angela Pickett, with support from Austin Frey, is leading the effort to clear out the offices in the south 2/3 of the building and find appropriate places to move and store the materials and equipment currently in those spaces.
Join us in congratulating Chris Palladino and Austin Frey!
Chris Palladino’s, Director of Real Estate Services and the Real Estate Development Program, position title and responsibilities have changed. In this new position, one-third of Chris’ time will be devoted to teaching at CAP, and he will report directly to Alan Finn regarding the Real Estate Development Program.
Austin Frey’s position title has been changed to Facilities Space Utilization Manager. He will assume Chris’ former space management duties.

Fun in Business Affairs
Homecoming Office Decorating Contest
The Office for People and Culture participated in the 2024 Homecoming Office Decorating contest and tied for first place! The team transformed the Employee Solution Center into Cardinal Round-Up Laboratory, where the evil Dr. Mindstorm plotted to turn our homecoming rivals into buff Charlies using extra-strength round-up. The resulting formula had some unintended side effects that resulted in strange mutations among the lab staff. Despite the risks, the brave judges dared enter the lab where the team won them over with an awesome monster mash routine and tasty game-day inspired cuisine. Great job, People and Culture team!
Halloween
Accounts Payable and the Controller’s office were super creative and festive for the holiday. Check out their costumes!

Happy Birthday month to Dawn Rench, Building Services Supervisor. We are celebrating another year of life with you and hope you enjoy your special day!
