Journalism Day, or J-Day, is a one-day workshop for middle and high school students as well as their advisers on Ball State University’s campus in Muncie, Indiana.

Last year’s theme, “Stories Better Told, Lives Better Lived”, featured keynote speaker Lori Byers. Byers is the Associate Dean for Ball State’s College of Communication, Information and Media.
Typical Schedule of Events:
8 a.m.: Check-In Opens at Emens
8:45 a.m.: Keynote Session Begins
10 a.m.: Session One Begins in Student Center
11 a.m.: Session Two Begins
12 p.m.: Session Three Begins
1 p.m. Session Four Begins
