Jonathan C. Spodek, FAIA, FAPT, NCARB, professor of architecture in the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University, was appointed to the 12-person National Park Service (NPS) advisory board for preservation technology by the Secretary of the Interior.
The responsibility of the advisory position is to provide leadership, policy advise and professional oversight; advise the Secretary on priorities and allocations of grants; and submit an annual report to the President and Congress. The board works through a designated Federal Officer who does the official communication and reporting to the Secretary of the Interior.
