BIO

Daniel J. Glenn, AIA, NCARB, is a nationally recognized Native American architect specializing in culturally responsive architecture and sustainable design that reflect his Crow Tribal heritage. His projects include the Stillaguamish Village, a Seattle AIA 2030 Challenge recipient, and the University of Montana Payne Family Native American Center, a LEED Platinum project.  He designed the Crow Dance Arbor and Little Big Horn College Campus Plan and Buildings in his family’s home-town of Crow Agency on the Crow Reservation in Montana. He is a contributing author to volumes 1 and 2 of Our Voices: Architecture & Indigeneity and co-editor and contributor to The Handbook of Contemporary Indigenous Architecture. He is a regularly invited speaker at national and international conferences and was part of a team of Indigenous architects who were featured in the 2018 Venice Biennale and the documentary film, From Earth to Sky in 2021.
