Coach Sherif Attallah and his student team placed 5^th nationally in the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA)  2020-2021 Student Competition!

This year’s competition project required student chapters to act as the prime contractor on the renovation project to the historic University of Pennsylvania Museum. The competition was based on an actual project of one of the MCAA member firms and utilized the actual information and accompanying technical drawings, and the firm collaborated with local MCAA firms in the preparation of their proposal.

This year’s project was challenging in itself and many student chapters had the additional unforeseen challenge of having to work and collaborate on their proposal from afar, with strict COVID-19 restrictions in place limiting team gatherings.

The chapter will also receive a cash award!
