Noblesville Schools has announced that Noblesville High School (NHS) principal Dr. Craig McCaffrey has been named the Principal of the Year for North Central Indiana (region 5) by the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP). Dr. Sheron Fraser – Burgess Is Visiting Scholar at Wellesley Centers for Women

Dr. Sheron Fraser-Burgess is a Professor of Social Foundations of Education and Multicultural Education in the Department of Educational Studies. She is currently on sabbatical and is a visiting scholar at the Wellesley Centers for Women in Massachusetts. On September 23, she was featured on a webinar called “Evolutions of Womanism: From West African roots to Emerging Ideas in the Caribbean”. Three Teachers College faculty were honored with Outstanding Awards during the 2021 Ball State Fall Opening Convocation on Friday, August 20, 2021.

  • Dr. David McIntosh, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Strategic Initiatives, and the David and Joanna Meeks Distinguished Professor of Special Education, was given the Outstanding Administrator Award.
  • Dr. S. Serena Shim, Professor of Educational Psychology, was given the Outstanding Research Award.
  • Dr. W. Holmes Finch, George and Frances Ball Distinguished Professor of Educational Psychology, was given the Outstanding Faculty Award.
