On February 26th, 2020, Ball State students in the College of Communication, Information and Media, in collaboration with Information Technology employees, produced and hosted the very first recording of the President Mearns public affairs program titled, Cardinal Compass: Campus and Community Conversations. The show is produced by these students as part an interdisciplinary course offered by the Department of Telecommunications and the Department of Journalism. The first episode will be broadcast on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 6:30 pm on WIPB and IPR, and it will continue to air on the third Friday of each month after.
