Things are always changing at Ball State, but one thing is certain: summer is for orientation. IT took on orientation again this year to showcase technological and digital resources on campus that incoming students need to know.

Assistant Director of Unified Technology Support Marchal Hudson, Technology Store Assistant Manager Grace McKee, and Digital Corps Specialist Luci Bluto took charge of presenting to the Class of 2029 and gave them the need-to-knows on all things IT.

Multiple days of the week, Bluto, Ball State media junior, took to the stage to share more about the digital experience at Ball State through a student-worker’s lens.

“I’m so honored to have been thought of for this by our wonderful staff and to gain the practice and exposure of confidently speaking to large groups!” Bluto said via a LinkedIn post. “Exposure and opportunities like this are why I love my job and make it even easier to happily promote it to others.”

IT’s participation in orientation each year is a great way to spread technological understanding to incoming Cardinals. With the work of these IT employees, future freshmen have connected with their soon-to-be digital home.
