On January 6th and 7th, approximately 50 College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) students participated in a video editing workshop hosted in the Student Technology Suites at Ball State University. This space, in the Ball Communications Building (BC 194), has multiple rooms with computers and tools tailored for students’ technological needs.

“This workshop was a good opportunity for students to see our Student Technology Suites for themselves and use the space as a resource for class-specific learning,” Assistant Director of Unified Technology Support, Marchal Hudson said. “These suites are a great place for any student looking for a space to work on classwork, have a group meeting, or even work on independent projects.”

The technology suites are open to students across campus, offering a variety of workspaces, including audio suites, presentation suites, and general work suites. These are ideal spaces for everyone whether you are working on a class assignment, group project or an extracurricular activity.

Students can reserve these spaces or explore the suites during walk-in hours. To learn more about this space, students can visit the Web Checkout through the MyBallState Portal. Whether you are editing a video, preparing for a presentation, or collaborating on a group project, the Student Technology Suites are here to help all students succeed!
