On December 18th, 2024, the UTS Tech Center hosted its Annual Holiday Celebration, bringing all the employees together to celebrate the end of the year. This tradition is more than a celebration but a chance to recognize achievements, foster comradery and reflect on the success of the year.  

 

A highlight this year was the introduction of the “Rock Star” awards. Peers nominated their colleagues who went above and beyond in their roles. This year’s recipients included Grace McKee, Jonathan Hendrix, Chelsea Amman, Zach Hansen, Isaiah Schevola, and Kent Osborn.   

Adding to the celebration, the team participated in a White Elephant gift exchange where Zayne Hunter was the winner of the most stolen. 

 

“The UTS Tech Center staff, a division of IT, enjoys gathering for a couple of hours at the end of the fall semester to celebrate the successful end to another semester and end of the year.” Assistant Director of Unified Technology Support, Marchal Huson stated.  “For the first time this year, we identified peer rock stars to motivate and encourage the team.” 

 

 This celebration was a great way to honor individuals’ hard work and emphasize the UTS Tech Center’s culture as they enter 2025!
