The United Way Day of Action is a special opportunity for our IT team to step out of the office and come together to give back to the Muncie community.  

This year, we joined others at the Muncie Mission to clean up storage areas and spread mulch at the store’s entrance, helping make the space more welcoming. This is a hands-on way for us to bond as a team while making a difference.

  

IT’s involvement in the United Way Day of Action began with our technical assistance in registration for the Office of Community Engagement, and we’ve been part of this event ever since. Volunteering outside of the office is a rewarding experience, as it allows us to contribute to our community in new and meaningful ways.
