Ball State’s Unified Technology Support (UTS) values providing timely, knowledgeable technology support to the university community. One way that UTS provides this support is through their annual “Love Your Computer” event.

At the beginning of February, UTS hosted its 10th annual event centered around the care for Ball State students’ computers. Ball State students from all over campus were encouraged to stop by the Tech Center to get their computers cared for.

Ball State students had the opportunity to let professionals inspect their computers, offer recommendations for computer-related issues, resolve specific problems, and leave with free computer cleanings.

UTS knows how often students use their computer for classwork and other daily tasks. They wanted to give back to Ball State by showing love to these computers, with the goal of giving them extra life and longevity through a general check-up and clean.

The event was successful! The Tech Center assisted over 50 clients. Additionally, the Technology Store offered a special deal on their cleaning kits for those that came to the event. The Technology Store sold these kits for as low as $10 and many Ball State students took advantage of the sale.
