Greg Durbin, Project Manager and Enterprise Systems Release Coordinator in the Enterprise Project Support Office (EPSO), will be retiring from Ball State on Tuesday, August 31, after nearly 19 years of service.
Greg has worked in a number of technology areas at Ball State over his career. Originally hired in 2002 for operational expertise in the IBM mainframe, he branched into data storage, data security, and served as a database administrator. He then moved into open systems and helped the team that built our bridge to Banner. Greg became part of the EPSO in 2014, where he has worked to assist people in departments all over campus to find solutions to their technology problems.
Mark Watters, Director of Enterprise Project Support Office, and Greg’s supervisor, says:
“Greg is a great employee and teammate. His work at Ball State has been top notch! He will be missed.”
Greg has been an avid reader and movie fan for years, and with some time in retirement, he wants to try his hand at writing a novel.
Please join us in wishing Greg well in his retirement.
