There have been some questions asked around access to the various buildings on campus during the 2020-2021 academic year, especially during the semester break. The following is the official calendar for building access for the university.
Academic Buildings & Mixed Used Buildings (Administrative and Academic)
August 24 through November 24
Weekdays: 7:00 a.m. to end of last in-person class scheduled in the building
Weekends: Locked
November 24, 2020 to January 18, 2021
Weekdays: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except on University Holidays and scheduled early closings)
Weekends: Locked
January 19 through May 8
Weekdays: 7:00 a.m. to end of last in-person class scheduled in the building
Weekends: Locked
Administrative Buildings (Administration Building, Lucina Hall, UPD, Multicultural Center, Student Health Center)
August 17 through Academic Year
Weekdays: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except on University Holidays and scheduled early closings)
Weekends: Locked
Bracken Library, the Student Center, the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, North Dining, the David Owsley Museum of Art, the Rinard Orchid Green House, Emens Auditorium and Pruis Hall, and the Charles Brown Planetarium building availability will be determined by the operating staff.
