Please join President Mearns and Provost Rivera-Mills virtually for our Fall Opening Convocation, beginning tomorrow, August 21, at 9:00 AM at bsu.edu/live.

Fall Opening Convocation is an opportunity for the President and the Provost to celebrate our shared accomplishments and the contributions from the previous academic year, while also outlining what we will accomplish in the year to come. This year, because of current pandemic restrictions, we are limiting in-person attendance at the event to recipients of our outstanding awards and their guests. We will continue our tradition of presenting awards to the winners, but in a manner that complies with proper physical distancing guidelines inside Emens Auditorium.

We look forward to you watching what will truly be a special event. Thank you for your hard work and dedication as we start a new academic year.
