The Office of Information Security Services has announced that Josh Flaherty has passed the Splunk Power User certification. This certification demonstrates an individual’s foundational competence of Splunk’s core software. This includes the understanding of SPL searching and reporting commands and creating knowledge objects, use of field aliases and calculated fields, creating tags and event types, using macros, creating workflow actions and data models, and normalizing data with the Common Information Model in either the Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud platforms.

According to Tobey Coffman, Director of Information Security Services:

“Josh completing this certification is really objective proof of what we already knew: Josh is super good with Splunk! Congratulations to Josh.”
