As Fall semester approaches, you may be considering one or more Information Technology events for students, faculty, or staff and are wondering how to go about it during the COVID-19 pandemic. If so, then the newly created Event Management and Community Engagement Guidebook is what you are looking for.
“As the Ball State campus starts to allow greater access, the COVID-19 Event Management and Community Engagement Guidebook has been created to assist in the safe planning of events, both on- and off-campus, as well as off-campus, in-person engagement. These guidelines pertain to any Ball State division or organization that hosts events beyond University meetings, academic classes, or other day-to-day operations.”
The guidebook includes general safety information, event approval information—including a link to an Event Proposal form that you’ll need to fill out to get approval for your event—along with contact information for on- and off-campus locations, so you can safely plan your next IT event.
