Chris Cahoe and his team in Unified Communications were instrumental in making the first ever “virtual” meeting of the Ball State Board of Trustees a success. Because of the recent Governor’s Order to stay at home, the Board had to find a way to conduct its regular monthly meeting remotely. Using the university’s WebEx application, the Unified Communications team made it easy for each Board member to attend the meeting remotely, as well as allowing the public to join in.
The Board Secretary, Anita Kelsey, thanked the Information Technology team for a job well done.
“Thank you for all your help. This meeting was successful because of your due diligence.”
Loren Malm also complimented the Unified Communications effort.
“Many thanks to the Unified Communications team for their excellent work in planning and conducting the Board of Trustee’s meeting today. Especially under these circumstances, I realize there was a lot to configure, test, and arrange. I appreciate everyone’s efforts in making this a seamless experience for everyone who participated.”
