Acquaint yourself with this year’s student philanthropy leaders
The Philanthropy Education Council (PEC) is a student-run organization with a mission to inform fellow students on the impact and importance of giving time, talent, and financial resources to Ball State. Student philanthropy impacts current and future students by ensuring their success.
Council members act as ambassadors of the University, participate in exclusive alumni/donor events, and assist in planning high-profile events such as One Ball State Day. Brittney Grim, Director of Student and Young Alumni Philanthropy, says of working with PEC, “I am honored to work so closely with these outstanding students. Each has a story about how philanthropy has impacted their time at Ball State, and it shows in their passion for the University.”
A focus for this year’s Council will be One Ball State Day. The Council oversees all of the on-campus student components for the event. Their responsibilities include organizing the activities that occur on campus during the day. Additionally, the Council will be promoting the Top 100 Student Awards to their peers and fellow campus leaders to encourage nominations and applications.
