Meet the new members of the Alumni Council!

Kelly Doucet, ’10, At-Large

Kelly is the Regional Community Partnerships Specialist for Meijer, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She currently lives in Indianapolis and is a member of the Black Alumni Constituent Society as well as the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter. Kelly has extensive experience leading and supporting projects and has broad professional organization and community engagement experience.

Brian Geislehart, ’08 ’09 MBA, At-Large

Brian is the Managing Director, Global Channel, Aftermarket & Warranty, of Allison Transmission Inc., headquartered in Indianapolis. He has received the Outstanding Technology Transfer Professional of the Year award from the Federal Laboratory Consortium in 2013 and the Graduate of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D.) Award from the Ball State University Alumni Association in 2012. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management and an MBA from Ball State University in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Jonathon Maple, ’11 MAE ’14, Young Alumni Council

Jonathon spent 10 years in education working as a business teacher and Assistant Principal at Oldenburg Academy. Maple now serves as the Executive Director of the Margaret Mary Health Foundation in Batesville, Indiana, where he supports the Margaret Mary Health Hospital campuses through fundraising and philanthropic support. Jonathon has served as a member of the Ball State University Young Alumni Council, most recently serving as a Member-at-Large. He has a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing education and a master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision, both from Ball State in 2011 and 2014.

Cory Spaulding, ’06 ’09 MBA, At-Large

Cory is a Trust Relationship Officer at Greenleaf Trust, headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He serves as a Board and Finance Committee member of Heritage Community of Kalamazoo and as a Strategic Planning Committee member of the Ball State University Alumni Council. Cory has received the G.O.L.D. Award from the Ball State University Alumni Association and the Alumni Award of Achievement from the Ball State University Miller College of Business. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from Ball State University, earned in 2006 and 2009, respectively.

Beth Snyder, ’78, Alumni Ambassadors

Beth joined Council in 2017, chaired the Scholarship Committee, and is transitioning to the Ambassador representative. She chairs the Greater Cincinnati Alumni Chapter, is a member of the Fellows Society, Leaders & Loyals, and Cardinal Varsity Club. Collegiate activities included Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Mortar Board, Student Orientation Corp, and the Women’s Gymnastics Team. Snyder graduated in 1978 in accounting. She is a Fort Wayne native who lives in Cincinnati. Now retired, Beth worked for Procter & Gamble in finance and held a variety of non-profit positions, including serving as Development Director for the Miller College of Business.

Kim Stout, ’82, Michiana Chapter

Kim is a 1982 graduate of the Miller College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in finance. As a student, Stout was involved with Sigma Sigma Sigma National Sorority. She spent 17 years at Key Bank and its predecessors in Northern Indiana, specializing in 401(k)s. She now is the Payroll/HCM specialist with TruPay in Mishawaka, Indiana. Kim has been involved for more than 30 years with the Michiana Alumni Chapter, including previous service on the Alumni Council. Her personal interests are family, golf, Ball State, and helping others.

Lynn Witty, ’83, At-Large

Lynn is on faculty at IU School of Medicine – Muncie Campus, is the Medical/Outreach Director of the Healthy Lifestyle Center with the College of Health, and is a health and wellness consultant following retirement from a pulmonary/critical care medicine practice. She serves as the Communications Chairperson with the Indiana Chapter of American Medical Women’s Association and is on the steering committee of Healthy Community Alliance. Witty received her pre-medical, medical technology bachelor’s degree from Ball State in 1983, and her Doctorate of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1987.
