Being a Ball State University Cardinal means having a community to lean on for life. During these uncertain times, physical distancing doesn’t mean disconnecting from your alma mater. Staying connected is more important now than ever. Here are some great ways to stay in touch with fellow alumni and with what’s happening on campus.

Stay in the Know
Ball State Magazine is the place to go for the latest articles, photos, and videos about students, alumni, and faculty.
In January and July, check your mailbox for a copy of the Ball State Alumni magazine, featuring in-depth stories on alumni, students, University programs, and so much more. Be sure to share your own news in the magazine’s Class Notes section. It’s one of the best ways to let everyone know what you’ve been up to since graduation. Did you get married or have a baby? Have you recently started a business, been promoted, or published a book? Whenever something great happens in your life, submit a class note!
Drive with Pride and Support a Legacy Student
Thousands of Ball State alumni who are Indiana residents show their Cardinal Pride on the road by purchasing a Ball State license plate.
But even better: $25 of your $40 special plate fee supports the Legacy Scholarship Program, which awards scholarships to students who are children or grandchildren of alumni of Ball State. Since 1983, more than 1,000 Ball State students have received awards through the Alumni Association; including nearly $250,000 awarded this year!
To order or renew your Ball State license plate, visit your local Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) branch, visit the BMV’s website, or call 888-692-6841.
