Behind each of the 12 items lies a fundamental need that employees and teams require to be successful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q5:\u00a0 My supervisor, or someone at work, cares about me as a person. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Care About Me: <\/strong>The fifth element of engagement is about creating a caring work environment and helping employees know they are more than just a number.\u00a0 A caring work environment is characterized by employees who feel valued like a valued member of the team, believe that their supervisor takes a personal interest in them, and where employees treat each other with respect.
