Still, our work isn\u2019t confined to the webpage. The Division of Online and Strategic Learning offers a variety of workshops and seminars throughout the semesters, and our largest annual events are just over the horizon in the spring\u2014our Spring Summits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2026 Provost\u2019s Faculty Summit: Cultivating Kindness and Belonging in Higher Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A collaboration between Ball State University&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/about\/administrativeoffices\/online-and-strategic-learning\">Division of Online and Strategic Learning<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/about\/administrativeoffices\/vice-provost\">Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/about\/strategic-plan-support\">Office of Strategic Plan Support<\/a>, the virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/about\/administrativeoffices\/online-and-strategic-learning\/provost-faculty-summit?utm_source=vanity&amp;utm_medium=print&amp;utm_campaign=OSL_Provost_Faculty_Summit\">Provost\u2019s Faculty Summit<\/a> is an annual event showcasing the meaningful work of faculty, staff, and students at Ball State University and other regional institutions. It showcases innovative work that exists at the intersection of teaching and technology, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect with colleagues and share creative ways to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Teaching and Technology Summit is free to attend and takes place virtually on the following days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thursday, March 19, 2026<\/strong><br>8:30 a.m.-Noon Eastern<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday, March 20, 2026<\/strong><br>8:30 a.m.-Noon Eastern<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/go.bsu.edu\/register\/?id=60d9be87-c489-4fff-8d4d-71348a10791c\">Register today<\/a> to save your seat and <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ballstate.infoready4.com\/#freeformCompetitionDetail\/1999964\"><strong>submit a proposal<\/strong><\/a><em> (Proposals are due by <strong>January 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.<\/strong> We accept proposals only from <strong>Ball State<\/strong> employees, faculty, and graduate students.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees can expect engaging and informal sessions that range from quick hits (5 minutes) to deeper dives (20 minutes), all hosted in a single Zoom room and designed to be easy to leave and return to, so they fit into busy schedules. At their core, both summits focus on the important, innovative work being done by the professionals in and around our university\u2014the rockstars our team has the privilege of working with every day.
