Taking inspiration from her grandmother, who was a teacher and principal, Lexi always knew she wanted to be an educator. In fact, in pre-school, she declared that she wanted to be a principal and \u201crule the school.\u201d Lexi learned firsthand what it looks like to have a heart for teaching youth, and she shares that passion with her grandmother.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ba0c00\">Campus Life<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>At Ball State, Lexi stays busy with several campus organizations, including the Homecoming Steering Committee, Ball State Navigators, Alpha Omicron Pi, Future Educators Peer Mentors Program, and the Honors College. Last summer she participated in an immersive program and was inspired:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLast summer I did the Camp Adventure Summer Immersive Program with Professor Stacey Allred. She is the best! Although she isn&#8217;t sure of the location yet, she does plan to work as an elementary education teacher.<\/p>\n<p>In her downtime, Lexi loves camping, outdoor activities, and going to concerts in the summer.
