Zoe’s Travel Ecuador Recommendations:

Favorite Scenery: The Cotopaxi mountain! We went on a tour that let us climb it and bike down; it is an active volcano, so the rock and detached nature it had from the rest of the area was fascinating to me!

Favorite Food: Pineapples purchased from the markets in Cuenca! They are so much sweeter and cheaper than the options in the U.S., and I have almost been tempted to go back purely for the purest pineapples I have ever tasted on their own!

Best Adventure Location: Baños, Ecuador is known often as the Adventure Capital of Ecuador; we participated in biking through mountains, canyoning, bus tours, and bungee jumping during our time there. The scenery is gorgeous as well; you won’t want to miss out if you find yourself in Ecuador!

Best Sporting Event: Soccer/Football! If you get the chance to go to a football game in-person, especially a rivalry one, jump on it! The energy is absolutely electric, and included people with cymbals, chants, and brightly colored outfits that lit up the stands and made the entire experience very memorable.
