Annika’s passion for traveling has been lifelong. Getting the opportunity to travel with her father on global business trips sparked a love for experiencing the world (see her travel recommendations below). While attending Butler University studying for a psychology degree, Annika travelled independently internationally for the first time in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She loved it so much she decided to attend the University of Amsterdam to complete her master’s degree in communication science. Two years in Amsterdam solidified her belief that everyone deserves a chance to see the world. This passion has brought her to the Study Abroad Office here at Ball State University where she hopes to encourage students to get out of their comfort zone and into the world.

Annika meets students for 1-on-1 advising appointments from 9:00am – 5:00pm. You can set up an advising appointment here: Study Abroad Advising
