{"id":225,"date":"2024-10-25T10:41:30","date_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:41:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bsu.edu\/oce\/?p=225"},"modified":"2024-10-25T10:44:46","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:44:46","slug":"were-looking-for-the-best-community-partner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bsu.edu\/oce\/2024\/10\/25\/were-looking-for-the-best-community-partner\/","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re looking for the best Community Partner!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ball State University\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/about\/administrativeoffices\/community-engagement\">Office of Community Engagement<\/a> is accepting nominations from Ball State faculty, staff, and students for the 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/about\/administrativeoffices\/community-engagement\/strategic-partnerships\/community-partner-award\">Community Partner Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the award is to recognize an Indiana* business, organization, school, or agency that has demonstrated excellence in their contributions as a community partner with Ball State University during the Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and\/or Spring 2024 terms.<\/p>\n<p>Nominees must have partnered with Ball State faculty, staff, and students between the period of May 1, 2023 \u2013 May 1, 2024 as part of one of the following community-based learning experiences:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service or immersive learning<\/li>\n<li>Community-based research<\/li>\n<li>Internship and\/or practicum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The award recipient will receive $500 and will be honored publicly at the Immersive Learning Showcase on April 18, 2025. The nomination form is available <a href=\"https:\/\/ballstate.infoready4.com\/#competitionDetail\/1954941\">here<\/a>. Nominations may be submitted by Ball State faculty, staff, or students only. The deadline for submission is December 13, 2024. Questions?
