On Sept. 25, Kelli received the 2025 University-Community Partnership Leadership Award during the Conference on Civic Studies and Democracy on the BSU campus.

She was told that her “leadership and contributions to civic life, cultural advancement, and community engagement embody the very spirit of this conference.”

The second award, from the Community-Engaged Alliance, was received during a luncheon in Indianapolis on Sept. 26. Kelli received the 2025-26 Community Engagement Professional Award.
