The University Libraries provide students and faculty with essential access to study and meeting spaces for a variety of academic purposes. The demand for these rooms is strong. It is important to note that users are also able to utilize rooms when they are available without making a reservation. However, students’ ability to reserve a room so they can ensure access to the spaces and tools needed to meet their academic needs is central to student success.      

 

The Libraries have installed AirTame wireless presentation devices on large displays in most study and meeting room spaces.  With the AirTame client on a Windows laptop or MacBook, students and faculty can share content to the large display in the room without the need for physical cables.   

  

The data indicates that the utilization of study and meeting spaces is an essential service that the University Libraries provides to the Ball State Community. So, as you plan your study and research strategies, make sure you get your University Libraries room reservations in the books.
