Have you started the countdown to the NSPA\/JEA National Convention in Indianapolis yet? We have, and it\u2019s just 50 days<\/b> away! In the weeks leading up to the convention, we are going to provide you with some convention tips and things to do in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start with the most important part of your day: mealtime<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re out for lunch or dinner or just want to grab a snack, here are some of the top places in Circle City to grab some grub.<\/p>\n

IF YOU DON\u2019T WANT TO GO TOO FAR FROM THE CONVENTION CENTER\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

Try High Velocity<\/a>, the sports bar located on the ground floor of the JW Marriott. This restaurant\u2019s menu includes \u201ca variety of American favorites mixed with some High Velocity flair.\u201d<\/p>\n

If sports bars aren\u2019t your thing, Osteria Pronto<\/a> is also located in the JW Marriott, situated right off the lobby. Osteria Pronto serves \u201cauthentic Northern Italian cuisine,\u201d where \u201ceach dish is comprised only of fresh, locally sourced ingredients.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just a 10-15 minute walk away is Monument Circle, which is surrounded by great restaurants, like\u00a0Buca di Beppo<\/a>, Giorgio\u2019s Pizza<\/a> and Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.<\/a><\/p>\n

Also in the nearby area is the Circle Centre Mall<\/a>, which houses restaurants like Granite City Food and Brewery, Palomino and P.F. Chang\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Just past the mall is Hard Rock Cafe<\/a>, Scotty\u2019s Brewhouse<\/a> and St. Elmo Steakhouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And if you\u2019re looking to be insulted while waiting for your food, check out Dick\u2019s Last Resort<\/a>.<\/p>\n

IF YOU WANT TO BE LIKE THE COOL KIDS. . .<\/b><\/p>\n

Go to Massachusetts Avenue \u2014 commonly referred to as Mass Ave<\/a>. This street is named one of the Top 100 coolest streets in America, and is filled with great eats.<\/p>\n

Start out with a fresh, cold-pressed juice from Natural Born Juicers<\/a> before heading to Wild Eggs<\/a> for breakfast.<\/p>\n
