Accompanying TechPoint, Ascend Indiana, a network-building organization, also presented internship and job opportunities to students.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">While they had a full day connecting across campus, the Digital Corps was the first stop on the itinerary for these companies. TechPoint shared information about what they do and the resources they hold for the Indiana technology world, specifically resources for students. Discussing one of their personal opportunities called \u201cXtern.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Xtern is an internship opportunity for students to interview and be \u201cjudged\u201d on their skills and then match with a technology-based internship in Indiana. This opportunity not only gives students the chance to receive an internship, but also gives students a chance to work on their professional development through interviews.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Similarly, Ascend Indiana shared how they share and create opportunities for students to be matched to internship opportunities.
