Fast forward fifteen years, and Paulsen has taken on various roles such as Designer and Design Team Lead. Last year, Paulsen achieved his latest career advancement, becoming the Assistant Director at the Digital Corps, collaborating closely with Executive Director Brandon Smith.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cI have a lot of pride in how we have grown the organization over time,\u201d said Paulsen. \u201cWe started out with a small group of students who were, essentially, glorified lab assistants to basically running a small studio agency from within the university.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Throughout his many years at the Digital Corps, Paulsen has taken part in many projects he holds close to his heart. Notably, during his early years as a staff member, he had the opportunity to work with the Indiana State Government and created the in.gov website logo.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Jumping from the Design Team Lead to Assistant Director, Paulsen still works closely with leading the Design Team, but additionally, assists Smith with managerial tasks and big-picture strategy for the Digital Corps.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cOne of the things I love doing is setting up and guiding some of the training processes here at the Corps and figuring out how to most efficiently train people,\u201d said Paulsen. \u201cIn some cases, it\u2019s taking a student at a freshman-level and bringing them up to a junior-level within one semester.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Paulsen has received three degrees from Ball State University.
