This year, the event was held on September 14, and included several Muncie organizations.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The University encouraged all faculty and staff members to volunteer in several community projects near campus, including a hygiene product drive, a used book drive, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club, putting together blankets and coats for children, and donating snacks to local child-care facilities.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Marchal Hudson, Assistant Director of Unified Technology Support, loved volunteering this year with members from her department. \u201cIt\u2019s always great to give back,\u201d she said.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mark Watters, Director of Enterprise Project Support Office (EPSO), and his team also volunteered this year.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Our team is full of people that are helpers and want to help people,\u201d Watters said. \u201cSo, finding ways to volunteer and give back is part of this culture.
