Dr. Maureen McCarthy, Dean of the College of Science and Humanities, expressed her thanks to University Media Services staff members Josh Gremer and Nathan Murphy for their work in recording a video message from the Dean to the Dean\u2019s List recipients.<\/p>\n
Josh coordinated the production and Nathan assisted on location. Josh made sure to communicate with Dr. McCarthy\u2019s staff beforehand to determine the best location and to determine any props needed for the production.\u00a0While setting up, Josh and Nathan made sure Dr. McCarthy was comfortable in front of the camera, tailored the script for her, and matched the Teleprompter speed to her reading style. The production went off without a hitch and Dr. McCarthy was extremely pleased with how smoothly the day went.<\/p>\n
In an email to the UMS Production Manager, Dr. McCarthy wrote:<\/p>\n
\u201cToday I had the good fortune of having Josh Gremer and Nathan Murphy work with me to tape a message for our college. They did an extraordinary amount of prep work, they were professional in their approach, and they made me feel at ease. They are truly outstanding professionals. In fact, I think they are rock stars. I just wanted you to know that I appreciated their work!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
